Elizabeth (Betsy) A. Fitzgerald, D.O. is a board certified dermatologist who has been with Abington Dermatology Associates since 1994 and is co-owner of the practice. Dr. Fitzgerald is a graduate of La Salle College. She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where she also completed her dermatology training.
Robert M. Tokarek, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist who has been with Abington Dermatology Associates since 1996 and is co-owner of the practice. He is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
Kevin P. O’Shea, MSN, CRNP is a board certified Nurse Practitioner. Kevin started with Abington Dermatology Associates in 1994 as a registered nurse. He earned his nursing degree in 1995 from Frankford Hospital School of Nursing and obtained his Masters in Nursing from Gwynedd-Mercy College in 2005.
Charlie Capaci, PA-C is a board certified Physician Assistant. Charlie received his Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Bioscience from the Pennsylvania State University in 2008. He then obtained his Master of Medical Science degree upon completion of the physician assistant program at Arcadia University in 2010.
Karen is a Board-Certified Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, who has been working in dermatology since 2003. She graduated from Providence College with undergraduate degrees in chemistry and business. After a brief stint in research, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the MGH Institute for Health Professions in Boston.
Cassandra was born and raised in Downingtown, PA and completed her master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies at Arcadia University. She is a nationally certified Physician Assistant and is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Amanda Murphy joins Abington Dermatology with 15 years experience as a physician assistant in dermatology. She graduated from University of Delaware with a major in Biology and a minor in Spanish. She received her Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM).
Dr. Varughese M.D., M.B.A. is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellowship trained Mohs and dermatologic surgeon. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a fellow of American College of Mohs Surgeons, which is restricted to fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons.
